Happy Birthday to ME!

So my wonderful family took me to Joe's Crab Shack for dinner for my birthday. Well we always pick there because of the playground for the kids...it is either that or Mcdonalds :). My mom of course insisted on paying for the expensive dinner and I appreciate and love her so much. We had a lot of fun. Kelton of course missed out on most of the picture taking because he was too busy on the playground making friends!

Daddy takes Grace SHOPPING!

For my birthday I asked Max to take Grace to the park and stuff so I could get some cleaning done around the house. So they go and have so much fun together as they always do and bring back some goods. I guess they went to Walmart so dad could let Gracie run all over to get all her energy used up and they picked up some things along the way. I have never seen this girl so attached to shoes or a backpack...I think it is because it came straight from daddy. Can you just picture it a dad and his daughter buying some dora sneakers! So Cute!

About our Trip

Our Cabin Stay up in the Uinta Mountains was absolutely beautiful. We stayed in an amazing cabin with everything you could imagine. We went for 4-wheeler rides and fed the horses. We went fishing and swimming at the lake. We caught some beautiful butterflies. We played games with the kids like hide in go seek in the dark and sherades. Kelton of course thought it was so funny to immitate me taking pictures all the time. He was being such a goof ball. Kelton's favorite thing to do on trips is to plan a trick to play on the adults after we go to sleep... So for the first time ever we played a trick back on them by toilet papering them while they were sleeping. We had so much fun. I love my family I swear we have the funnest family in this world!

Another one of our adventure's with the little man. We went bowling and we had so much fun. My nephew Carter actually did really good and beat everyone in the first game. Kelton did really good as well but he is always into playing with friends more than doing the actual activity. He is so funny.

Our Favorite Summer thing to do...The small town DRIVE-IN

This is seriously a Philpot family favorite! It is a little drive-in out by us with just one screen. It is awesome to go because you can see the stars and it is so quiet and not very many people. The sunsets are amazing as well! So Fun! Kelton is into giving bunny ears in every picture these days.

LIBERTY PARK

So my sister-in-law and I took the kids to Liberty park last Friday and it really was so much fun. I didn't realize how much stuff there is to do for the kids. Kelton absolutely loved the swings like the ones at Lagoon and rode them about 6 times I think we counted. We ended the day with Kelton and I on the Ferris Wheel. It was lots of fun!

Adventures

Our Adventures with KELTON

So we have my AMAZING stepson, Kelton, for 4 weeks for the summer. We have been having so much fun and we are only on Day 3! Gracie is just on cloud 9 that bra bra is here every morning and she is having a blast playing with him 24-7. I am just going to do a slideshow of the events so far because I would be doing way too many post's if I blogged about each thing. Our first day we went to the Gateway and the kids ran through the fountain and we saw a 3D show at the Clark Planitarium. Then last night Kelton and his cousin slept in the backyard in a tent ALL BY THEMSELVES! Max and I made bets on what time they would come running in scared but we both lost. They wandered in at about 8am this morning as if it was nothing. They are getting so big. They had a little lantern and we did smores and they brought out Kelton's awesome book "Dangerous Book for Boys." (for any moms that have a little boy you have to get this book if you dont already have it) Kelton laughs at me because on Christmas morning I was bawling reading it because I just think it is an amazing book for little boys to have. Plus, I was reading the section where it tells a little man how to treat the little ladies! It is seriously so cute and funny I was bawling. It tells them to not tease girls too much along wtih 20 other tips. LOL

NAUGHTY Chair

Yes...we have come to a point where we needed to get out a naughty chair for our little monster. Gracie has her moments and so we had to start time out. She laughs at mommie if I tell her NO and she hugs daddy when he tells her NO. Then she started hitting and then blowing a kiss immediately after as if that fixes everything! She is one smart little chick I'll tell you what.

So I had to take pictures of her on her naughty chair for the first time...I couldn't help to think they are kind of cute, LOL.
