Gracie's Tea Party!

Gracie's 2nd Birthday party was so much fun. We had so many great friends over and all the girls looked so pretty. Gracie had a little tea party and to my surprise all the girls really did good and actually sat down and had their peanut butter and jelly heart sandwiches and muffins, along with their Tea (strawberry lemonade). Gracie thought it was so neat. She got so many great gifts and had lots of fun playing with her friends. Thank you to everyone who came...you made Gracie's Day!Beautiful Birthday Girl!

Gracie is just like her brother...for some reason when they are both this age they cry everytime they hear the birthday song! We seriously have no idea why, LOL.

Life in the last month or so...

So I haven't posted in awhile. Mainly due to me being extra busy for some reason and also because I dont like to post without pictures and my computer is deciding to hate me right now and wont transfer my pictures! So I will just write a little recap but it isn't as much fun, LOL.

Kelton's Pinewood Derby: Kelton and Dad built their pinewood derby car. It turned out awesome! It was gold with a black stripe down the middle and we put his number on the sides. They worked so hard on this thing. I couldn't believe how much time goes into these things. They did ok, they definitely didn't win but they didn't completely lose either! It was all about them building something together anyways so I was proud of them!

Ice Fishing Date: So Max has taken up ice fishing this winter. He takes Kelton all the time and they have a blast. I love to go fishing with the boys in the summer when we are camping but I have never tried ice fishing. So Max really wanted me to go with him once and kept asking me. So we decided to do it and go just the two of us and make it kind of a date. It was nice being together but I swear anything and everything that could go wrong did. LOL Then after we finally get on the ice and get our holes dug, the tent up, and the poles in....yup I start throwing up and had the worst headache ever. The flu hit me 10 fold. So here I am out on a frozen lake trying not to barf and all my husband could keep saying was "I cant believe we aren't catching anything." So yes it was fun but I dont think I will be going back for awhile! I will call it my good wife deed for the year. Too bad I cant post the picture because I look aweful and it is kind of funny!

Valentines: The cutest thing about Valentines this year was Max getting a present for Gracie. He loves her with his whole heart and soul, she is his little sweatheart he says. So I didn't even know he got her a present and on Saturday morning he comes in with a present for her and she was so excited. He gave her a puppy dog stuffed animal with a heart hanging out of its mouth that Gracie wont let go of. Then he gave her a card that said "The things I like about you" when you open it, it started to play a song and was singing about the thing I like about you is the way you dance. Well dancing is totally Gracie and Daddy's thing so of course she started getting so excited and her and Max just danced and danced together to the card. I started crying of course! That made my whole day. Of course Max was a sweetheart and took me to the Cheesecake Factory and to a movie too. It was a fun day.

That is all from us from now. I will post more when I get the pictures going.
