A great big SNOWIE day! After driving in the blizzard to pick up Kelton from school and then Kelton and I trying to make the trek back home was quite eventful. It took us 3 and a half hours to get home!!! It is a long story and very bonding in the stop and go traffic together for 3 hours. We played hang man, rock-paper-sizzors, practiced counting by 2's and 3's and sang Christmas songs. WHEW! Since Kelton got out of school at 12:40 and we were pushing 4:30pm we were just hoping to at least get home in time for him to play in this dang snow that caused us so much trouble. We barely made it and after sitting in the car that long I still rushed inside to get all the kids in their snow attire and they headed out for all of 10 minutes, LOL. I got some cute pictures of it anyways...and this is really Gracie's first time putting on a pair of snow bibs and boots. SO CUTE!

Graice Update...
Gracie is growing up so fast and is doing so many new things everyday. She has just been blowing me away lately though with the things she says. Gracie is such a good talker. She will talk in sentences like "no thank you mama, I dont want it." She loves, loves, loves to count. She can count from 1 to 10 and she always is lining things up to count. She sings so many different songs but her favorite right now is Tinkle Tinkle Little Star! I tried to get her to sing it on video but she wouldn't do it. Hopefully I can catch her one of these days and I will post it. She sings Frosty the snowman, her ABC's song, Jingle Bells! She loves babies...I know I know what girl doesn't love babies! She is just so cute with them though. Dont under-estimate her...she loves her brother's guns, lego's, swords, knifes, cars, ect. One day she kept coming up to me with a dagger saying yah yah, I will get you mama. Max was laughing so hard. She is definitely a little tomboy. She just amazes me everyday!

The Philpot's visit Santa!
We had my niece's birthday party on Saturday and Santa happened to be there! So we did the whole try to put a 20 month old on Santa's lap but she wasn't having it. Kelton did good and smiled regardless of his sister kicking and screaming...so mom jumped in to see if that would help and then dad said well if those three are in it I mine as well hop in too! Yes can we all say we are the dorkiest family you have ever met! So here is a few pics from our day.
We all jump in to sit with Santa, we are such dorks I swear!

Philpot Family Update!
So I dont really know why I haven't had the motivation all of the sudden to blog, I think it is just a mixture of things. First of all I have to say with me not blogging I am getting far more done around the house, LOL. But I decided I should do an update anyways so here it goes!
Thanksgiving- our Thanksgiving holiday was wonderful. We spent the morning watching the Macy's Day parade on T.V. which I love doing because it is something I always used to do with my dad. Then we headed out to Max's parents for the big gathering. With 12 of us siblings and spouses, mom, dad and 13 nieces and nephews it is always eventful. We ate great food and talked and the kids ran around like crazy. Then we ended the night letting ALL of the kids have a sleepover at Uncle Jerry's and Aunt Hannah's house (bless their hearts). It was so nice and one of my favorite holidays every year because it is all about being with family!
Other than that I have just been getting ready for Christmas. I am so happy that I can say I am completely done and ready to go! Which is so nice because I can actually just sit back and enjoy the holiday with no stress. This is also because I started in August :)
So to bring us current Max and I decided that we needed to have a girls slumber party with our nieces because they are so awesome and we always only have the boys. So we had 7 girls over here including Gracie and then Max and Kelton. It was so funny because Kelton was all about Dad and him being downstairs doing boy stuff and that they were not going to come near the girls...sure enough during dinner Kelton gets talking with them and having fun and didn't leave their sides all night! It was cute because Kelt and dad went downstairs to watch a "boy movie" and us girls were putting one in and Max wonders upstairs and whispers to me that Kelt really wants to come up and watch with the girls but he didn't want me to tease him! LOL He is so cute. We made Christmas cookies and then I gave all the girls full pedicures. I mean soak their feet, scrub them, massage them, cut their nails, and paint them. Can we say Aunt of the year award? I can!
My Adorable Princess!
Best Friends! These two are obsessed with each other. They are only a month apart and see each other everyday. They are going to grow up being sisters!
Our Christmas Cookie mess! I had to show what a mess I let the girls make, LOL. Do they make Aunt of the year awards?
The boys downstairs in their man cave...before they decided it wasn't much fun without us girls.
My BEAUTIFUL nieces with there cookies.
Lila Lynn getting her pedicure. Full on pedicures I tell you :)
My beautiful work of art...LOL. Kind of pretty
Off to bed! With two huge air mattress's on the floor we are all set.

I have to say it again...I picked a good one!
So the date that went along with my flowers was a surprise date to the Hale Center Theater! We went to the musical "Into the Woods." I am a sucker for these things and Max does not like musical ANYTHING! So for him to pull this off and surprise me like this was amazing. What makes it even better is that the Hale Center is one of his accounts and because he does such an awesome job for them, they gave him our tickets for free! I was so proud of him. I posted a little clip off of You Tube below but if you ask me the actors at the Hale Center did way better than the ones in the clip. This musical is witty and funny. It was so good. If you have time to go see it before it ends on the 29th of this month you should! Another one of my favorites is the Christmas Carol that they put on. Amazing as well!
