~CAMPING~

We jumped at the chance for some camping when it was finally warm enough. This trip was extra special for 2 reasons. One, it was Faiths first camping trip. For two, it was dads special spot that he used to go as a kid his whole life. It was a much needed family trip that we just got to laugh and fun with each other.

Handsome Boy~ This kid was so happy to be out camping. When he was little we would go all the time and then we were busy growing his two little sisters over the last couple years so we are finally all ready to go camping a ton!

One of the Mines the Philpot Family used to have claims too. It is blocked off now but Max used to come up there as a kid to dig it out.

Dad and Brother made this bridge over the stream. I think Grace spent more than half her time sitting on this piece of sheet metal playing in the water :)

Jordan and Grace...have become the best of friends over the last few months. They moved in across the street for 6 months while their house is being built in Midway, UT. Um yes, too far away :) They have so much of the same personality and are two crazy girls. The other day I come outside and see my daughter with her best friend running around in Jordans swimsuits in the water. Um it wasn't that warm outside at all!!!! They were having a blast though. We are going to miss them so much. G is going to be so sad to not have a friend to play with from 8am to 9pm :(

Faiths first time on grass...she didn't love it but didn't hate it. She wouldn't stop trying to eat it even though she didn't like the taste :)

My Lil Sweetheart, Grace, made this card for me for mothers day. I loved all her crazy answers but my favorite was that I sleep all day everyday and then the next question is what does your mom do? She watches babies, Gracie says. Um I sure hope I am not sleeping all day when I am watching babies :)

Making Dad his Birthday card

Dad turns 30!!! He was having a little bit of a hard time with this one...LOL. We made him his favorite cake (german chocolate) and made him blow out 30 candles. Kelt was so concerned that the smoke alarm was going to go off :) Then we finished off the night with going to the drive in!

You can see the red in Max's beard here...that is where Faith gets it from. We watched our wedding video because I always make Max watch it with me on our anniversary :) and in the beginning there are baby pictures of us and oh my heck...Faith looks just like her daddy :)

She was such a good girl at the Drive In~ Given this was like her 3rd time already but she loves it just like the rest of her family

Taylorsville Competition~ 1st Place

This was Gracie's First Dance Competition. We have worked so hard up to this point and she never complains but I wanted to see if she liked actually competing. So about an hour after she did her first dance and we got her ready for her 2nd one...she asked probably 20 times when it was her turn again and she couldn't wait. That made me so happy that she was having fun and enjoyed it. She didn't even freeze up she just danced her sassy heart out and was absolutely goregous! They took first place in both of her dances and the 2nd dance got overall high point!

Daddy absolutely loves watching her~ look at his smile he seriously just lights up to see his little princess dance!

Right after her first performance...I didn't get any of the actual performance because I was too nervous and was just watching while daddy took the video.

She just sits and pulls all these faces while I snap pictures. No one tells her to do this it is all GRACIE!

I think daddy bringing her flowers was her favorite part as it was with her recital last year. She wouldn't let go of them and told us it was her special day :)

Faith was there the whole day and was such a trooper but mind you this is at 10:30pm at this point so she was upstairs with Grandpa trying to rest :)
