Toot my own horn for a minute....

I love love love doing crafts. If I could just do crafts all day long I would :) So I go through phases where I let the house get dirty, laundry piled up and I just craft away for a week to get it out of my system :) So here are a few things I did...

I went and got sticks out of the field behind my house, bought a bag of spanish moss at JoAnns for $2. The birds, skulls, and grey mesh were all $1 at the dollar store. It is fun at night when the candles are on and its dark. Very spooky :) Then of course we have our Halloween Tree. Yes it is a little weird for Halloween but with the orange lights on it, the kids love it. So why not.

Book Wreath

My sister in law turned me onto this idea. I seriously love this wreath. Wreaths are so expensive in the store and I love to switch out wreaths for different seasons/ holidays. So I bought an old book from the DI. I spray painted the edges of the paper while in the book. I did brown but you can do any color you want. My sister in law did lime green! Then you rip the pages out. Fold them and hot glue them in with the ripped edges on the outside. I still need to hang it with a big ribbon bow but haven't gotten to that yet :)

I had it on my front door which I loved, but then I thought the bathroom is a good place for it too :)
Tissue Paper Wreath

These are literally made with a wire hanger, tissue paper and some good ole hot glue :) I did some pastel pink ones for Faith's room. They dont look like tissue paper at all. They are full and almost look like flowers. These are so easy to do! I need to scootch both wreaths in a little on each side of the picture because they are too far away I think, but that is a hubby job and who knows when that will happen :)

The lady who I copied did a bigger one with White tissue paper for a spring wreath for the front door and I seriously love it. I will definitely be making one next spring.

ViCToRY

Stansbury won our rival Tooele on Saturday. It was such a good game and a CLOSE game. We are undefeated in the season. We did lose one cross over game but we are undefeated for the season :)

So with them doing so well I decided to make some cute little shirts to support brother. Both girls had matching outfits but of course I didn't get any full body pictures because it depends on their mood if they want to cooperate with me or not :) I also didn't get any pictures of brother because the camera died :(

Oh and one more side note...incase you didn't notice the 3 on Faith's shirt is backwards! LOL I have no time to do extra things like this so I was up till 1am the night before and lets just say I was a little tired :)

I totally should've made Max a shirt but he wouldn't have worn it :)

First Duck Hunt for our Little Man

Not only was this a very special event just for the fact that it was Kelt's first duck hunt, but he worked SO hard for it. You have to have your Hunters Saftey permit to do these hunts. So last year we wouldn't let Kelton do Hunters Saftey until he picked up his grades. So he did awesome for the 4th term last year. So this summer Max and Kelton spent many nights for 2 to 3 hours studying and taking the required quizes. Finally he had to go in to take his test and was there from 9 to 5 all day. He passed on the first try!!!! So off they went to go do something with his dad that he will always remember. He did really well and shot 3 ducks but only retrieved 2 of them. Dad and Kelton blame that on me because I wont let them have a hunting dog :( I will take the blame I am totally fine with that....LOL. No dogs for this family!

Good Job Kelt! We love you buddy

We are Officially a Family of Five!!!!

This is just a little Sneak Peek...I haven't gotten all of them back yet!

I love that she has the Biggest Goofy Smile

Better late than never right? It took us a whole year to get family pictures done to add our little sweetheart Faith. Poor girl waited so patiently all year and she was the biggest ham ever for the pictures :)

6 years...I cant believe how fast time goes

My Handsome Daddy

It was 6 years ago yesterday that my handsome papa passed away. It is still so surreal and so raw. I stay very guarded 99% of the time and try not to really think about it or let myself feel. I always break down for the week leading up to it. I was cooking dinner on Sunday night and started thinking about him when I was little and what an amazing father he was and all the things he did with us girlers...I was bawling before I even knew it and just sat down on the kitchen floor. I hate that I hold things in because then when they surface it is BAD. Gracie doesn't really understand it still she just thinks it is neat that Grandpa Kevin went to heavan ryhmes :) I hung out with my sister and my girls yesterday all day and that was so nice. He would've loved these two little ones I created. And they would've LOVED him :)

We watched his video last night and everytime I tell myself ok dont cry especially because Gracie watches Grandpa with me...but it never fails the tears come flowing. Except when Gracie side tracks me because she wont stop asking which one is me and which one is Aunt Maymee in all the pictures. She cant even tell us apart ????? LOL I finally say Grace just watch the movie ;)

I love you daddy so much!

First Day of Preschool.....

Grace picks her own outfits and has such a strong sense of her own style....from the hair do to the outfit down to the shoes....so never mind mom picking out the first day of preschool outfit :) It is such a fight and I finally just let go and let her do her thing :). So she loved loved loved her first day. She is in the same class as one of her good friends on the street and the teacher made her, her own backpack with her name. Of course the teacher and everyone couldn't stop talking about the voice that came out of this short little blue eyed blonde haired girl. It is a smokers voice I tell you :) Of course what she is known for and her sis is the same exact way :)

It looks like a name tag but it is actually embroidered on her backpack....so cute!

Labor day with the GIBBY'S and Fishing at Strawberry

We went to visit our old neighbors that moved soooooo far away to Midway, UT. Seriously I cant blame them for moving...it is such a fun cute town. We went to Strawberry and had so much fun fishing. Grace had tons of fun seeing her friend Jordan. She missed her sooo much!
