Ok I dont even know why I am admitting that my 18 month old is still with a bottle! Not just a bottle but a bottle to lay in her crib with that has milk in it. Yes not good for those little baby teeth! I tried to get rid of it at 12 months and it just wasn't going. Gracie and I had boot camp week when she was 12 months old, which ended in her winning on Sunday with getting her baba back. So I decided it is time for her to be a big girl and go without it and we are on day 2. The first night she did great we threw away the bottles together and told them bye bye. Max laid her down and we shut her door and she was in there just talking and playing and then silence. Max looks at me and goes "did you give her benedryl?" LOL...I looked at him and said "No did you?" We were amazed that she went down without any problems. She slept through the night and woke up happy as could be. So we start the bedtime routine last night and I put her down and we did not have a happy baby. Even though she didn't ask for her baba which I think is a good sign she was just all out of sorts. So anyways after 2 hours of crying she went nite nite. She woke up again at 6am crying but fell back asleep till this morning. So now she just went down for a nap and is crying. I swear this is going to be a week from He@#$% , LOL. If anyone has any tips that worked for them please send them my way:) She has minnie and her blanket as other comforts too so I tried that.

um I had the twins on a bottle until they were two and a half..I'm really embarassed to admit that!! It was my only life saver. To make it worse they would only drink "coco milk". So they had to quit cold turky with no rehab. I just put water in a sippie cup and that was all they got. If they threw a tantrum over the water then they did not get anything at all that night. It is soooo hard at first, but you just have to stick with it and don't give back in. I was so afraid that they were going to get baby bottle teeth but their teeth are perfect. Hang in there..it will get easier.
Me
Just stick with it, she will be fine in a couple days! You are supermom so I know you can do it!
Don't ya just hate to hear them cry. It makes you want to cry!!! Hang in there, it will soon be gone and in the past. So you went shopping at the outlets...FUN.
