Painful Periods...MAKE SURE TO READ THIS POST!

Ok so I decided to just copy and paste this post from my friend's blog because she said it much better than I could and I thought it was so interesting. So I hope this is legal in the blogging world and I hope it is ok with you T!

So I dont think I have shared about my painful ovarian cyst disease that I have PCOD that causes me not to get pregnant (Max and I haven't had one ounce of protection since Gracie was born, yeah no baby) and also causes me to have to get 4-9 shots in my stomach every single month! Not fun at all. Seriously the pain of the shots are much better than the pain I get with my cysts. The whole thing is just a dead end and I have tried everything and nothing is fixing it except for these shots.

Then I read this post below and thought hmmmm maybe I will give this a try and maybe I will go without the shots after a month of just doing organic. So this will be a big experiment for me so we will see how it goes. I have already done organic milk because I really would rather Gracie not get her period in 3rd grade so I will start with the other basic's and see where it gets me. I will give an update next month.

POST BY MY FRIEND T' ANN:

My Organic Life:Ok.....I admit that I am a freak when it comes to food! And yes, mostly all of my groceries I purchase are organic, right down to my toothpaste! (except tortillas, I swear those go bad in two days.) So lets set the record straight! At home I eat organic ~ but I still go out to restaurants and sneak some Cheetos every once and while.......and NO I don't snub food at peoples houses or BBQ's even though I know I just ate a mouth full of pesticides and human growth hormone. Mmmmmm....
Getting to my point:When I met with the Invitro doctor he was amazed that I have such severe endometriosis but showed no symptoms. No painful periods. (That's right I am going to talk about the "P" word. For all you men reading this blog here is your escape route: Click Here

I would like to try an experiment:Ever since that bitch Aunt Flow came into my life I had always had horrible, knife stabbing, want to jump off a cliff, stay home from school bed ridden, cramps and painful periods. It was like that for 8 years. Then I made the organic switch. I started eating organic taking baby steps and the first thing I switched was to organic milk, cheese, & eggs. Within maybe 3 months the pain was gone! No cramps & my period lasts 3 days instead of 7! Hallelujah! I have shared this with a couple of my friends and they have also seen the results. Obviously this is just from my own personal experience, I am not a doctor so don't get all up in my grill if this little experiment doesn't work. But you can shower me with presents if it DOES work for you and cures your every month woes!

How to: Avoid food (especially milk, cheese, eggs, etc.) with antibiotics, synthetic hormones or pesticides. Then make sure that the animal has been raised humanely, is able to graze, and given certified organic feed— never any animal by-products — and make sure it is certified organic.I would give you a list of brands to buy, but what's the fun of that?! Go, discover, search, & make the decision yourself! Mostly every grocery store will carry at least those few organic items. However if you don't live close to Wild Oats, Good Earth, or Whole Foods good to your local Harmon's. Especially the new one off of I-15 and Bangerter, I am in love with it!Message me if you are going to try this! Even if only one person does this, it will be exciting!

Winder Dairy is great!! All of the foods are 100% organic. I only buy milk, cheese, eggs, and chicken from them. If you sighn up tell them I refered you and we will both get like $25 towards products. I have had all my kids on organic since they were born and I know that it makes a huge difference. Let me know if it helps with your pain.
