Faith Drew Philpot is HERE!

My precious little girl is here. She came by C-section on August 17 @ 10:45pm. She weighed 7lb 6 oz and is 20 inches long. For 3 weeks early that is a pretty big girl!

So Faiths' lungs weren't doing good right from the beginning. They did an xray and her lungs are fully developed and she is completely healthy otherwise. When you have a baby cesearean the fluid doesn't get pushed up out of their lungs sometimes like it does with a vaginal birth. So Faith was having a really hard time getting the fluid out on her own. Through the night she continually did worse. They tried everything in the NICU until they finally had to put her on a ventalator down into her lungs and completely have her sedated. So my precious little baby has an IV in her head and two in her abdomen, and the ventalator down her throat. I still haven't held her. Her little hand hung onto my finger for a little bit this morning but that is it. She is in very good hands and all we can do is pray that she will pull through this. She has her daddys' fight inside of her so I know she will pull through.

She is so goregous and looks so much like Grace but alot like her daddy too. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
