First we will start with my LOVE for this stuff...is only because it makes my little Faith feel better and is definitely making her chubby:) My HATE for this stuff is due to it costing 100 dollars a week!!!! I breast fed Faith until a couple weeks ago. I guess I feel like a bad mom considering I am on my 3rd child and it took me 6 months to figure out she has a milk protein allergy? In my defense she never was fussy with her spit up not one bit. Yes, she spit up A TON but, she was the best baby. So when I would supplement formula when we were out and about she would spit up even worse. My breast milk wasn't as bad but still not normal. So I tried all different formulas starting in January, I mean EVERY KIND OUT THERE. I was dreading to try the expensive Alimentum. So I finally gave in and tried it and yep sure enough did the trick :)
So of course I love this stuff more than hate it because it is making her feel better, and more convinent for me to not have spit up everywhere. I have also noticed a huge change in her weight. She was pretty little and I always thought that was weird because I do not have little babies! They may be short but not skinny:) So sure enough she is looking more like her big sis now that she is being fed!!!
So here's to the next 6 months Alimentum...it is me and you!

Everytime I hear of someone having to use this I feel bad. As if regular formula isn't bad enough! You are so right though at least it makes her feel better!
Hey Linds. The twins are on the one down from that. The Neosure for preemies. Feeding 2 on it we go through a can a day, at 15 bucks a can we are over the 100 mark a week as well. I feel your pain. It's awful isn't it. However, the Neosure has helped their weight as well. We are up to 13 and 12 pounds. Not bad considering they were born at 4 pounds just 4 months ago. The best part is no more weekly weight checks with the pediatrician. Love ya!
